Entertaining for the Big Game

Entertaining for the Big Game

Football Fever – yes, it’s that time of the year again! New York Giants vs. New England Patriots. While I’m sure a large majority of the nation is ready to cheer on their team, I on the other hand am thinking about the fun and tasty menu I am going to prepare for my favorite football fans, as well as the preparation I need to make at my house for my guests.

For those who want to know one of my all-time favorite recipe for a big group, here it is! It’s always a big hit around my house.

Lauren’s Famous Chile Con Queso
Jimmy Dean’s Premium Pork Hot Sausage, 1 lb.
Velveeta, 2 lb. box
Green chiles, chopped, 1 can
Ranch Style beans, 1 can
Rotel tomatoes, 1 can

1. Brown sausage. Drain.
2. Cube Velveeta into small cubes.
3. Combine all ingredients in a large crockpot, heat and enjoy!

Throughout my years of working at Rug Doctor, I have heard many horror stories of what happens on holidays and special occasions to your home. Everything can become pretty unsightly and dirty! It only takes a second and there goes a plate full of food or a drink flying through the air. Don’t worry – Rug Doctor to the rescue! Our carpet cleaning products are tried and tested! Here are a couple handy tips to keep in mind:

I always keep a bottle of Rug Doctor’s Spot & Stain Remover on hand. It’s a fantastic product, and it really does remove stains. I like it because it’s an easy-to-use spray product and you can apply it directly on the problem area. It’s really good for liquid spills – such as coffee, wine and tea. In addition, it can remove mud and grass (just in case you decide to have your own rendition of the Big Game in your backyard).

Be sure to check out Rug Doctor to learn more about our product line. There are lots of great products to choose from!

Wow, I can’t believe how good that recipe was. Too bad it didn’t help my Patriots win. They choked harder than ever. We also spilled some on my rug. We will rent a rug doctor for our carpet cleaning needs that’s for sure. Those little buggers work great for everything from wine to mustard. Thanks for the great post.
